… we have a publication date for Rachis!

After such a positive response to this new design, I switched up the schedule to get it launched sooner rather than later. And it’ll be ready to go live 18th August 2022!

It sailed through it’s first round of tech edits and it will absolutely be ready for August, so I’m totally safe in saying out loud that it’ll be available soon.

The pattern is written for 6 sizes - 15in through to 25in heads - for DK weight yarn. And given it’s internal maths and construction, it’ll work for a wide range of yarn weights, meaning you can get even more out of the pattern.

It’ll be provided in both written and charted format and will include download links for all the necessary techniques beyond basic knit, purl and decrease stitches, ensuring you’ve got everything you need to knit yourself the perfect Hat.

Rachis will absolutely love your hand-dyed and opinionated yarns! The chevron pattern will highlight colour changes in just about any yarn, from self-striping through to kettle dyed semi-solids through to loudly variegated yarns. It’s such a winner for those yarns that won’t quite fit other patterns.

Members of The Woolly Hat Society will get an exclusive member-only discount so if you’re not a member yet, now might be a good time to sign up!
