A little pixie number

That Hat that jumped onto the needles earlier in the week, when I was full of the lurgy? Finished, blocked & modelled.

When Susan was here earlier in the year, and she was looking through all the Bambeanies Hats, she said to me that she thought Quynn was quintessentially me. And I think she's right. I love these styles because they're structured and quirky and fun.

And I love knitting them.

There will be a pattern, though not until the end of November or beginning of December, as I don't want it to get lost amongst the Mystery KAL madness (which is only just around the corner!). It's knit top down and will include a whole bunch of sizes. This one is knit from a couple of odd 50g balls of KnitPicks Wool of The Andes I had in my stash. 

I am pleased with it, I must admit. And we had a good day with the camera too, huh?
